Dr. Mischa Crumbach began his career in 2005 in the research department of an international aluminum manufacturer. From 2007 to 2010, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Düsseldorf and Zurich for the metals and raw materials industry with projects in Bahrain, Germany and China. He then moved to a leading plant engineering company in Zurich, where he was in charge of corporate development and strategy from 2012.
In addition to his work as a consultant, Dr. Mischa Crumbach is a professional mineral photographer and runs his own company as a certified mountain bike guide and riding technique trainer.
Education
Dr. Mischa Crumbach graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a degree in metallurgy and materials engineering and wrote a dissertation on computer-aided microstructure simulation of metals at the Institute of Metallurgy and Metal Physics there. During his time at McKinsey&Company, he completed various training courses on problem solving techniques, consulting methods, project management topics and lean operations. He also holds the HERMES 5 Foundation project management certificate.
